Judge Tosses Election, Restores Former Compton Mayor to Office
LOS ANGELES - In a stunning decision that legal experts said is unprecedented in the state, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge on Friday invalidated the results of the June 5 mayoral election in Compton and named the losing candidate, former Mayor Omar Bradley, the victor.
