Lawyers Object to Treatment of Prisoners in Cuba
LOS ANGELES - Expressing "grave doubts" over his power to rule, U.S. District Judge A. Howard Matz on Monday agreed to hold a hearing next month on whether a Los Angeles federal court has jurisdiction to consider the treatment of al-Qaida prisoners being held at Guantanamo Bay naval station in Cuba.
