On Oct. 25, the Drug Enforcement Administration raided and closed the Los Angeles Cannabis Resource Center on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. The center had been in existence for five years and had served more than 1,000 patients diagnosed with AIDS, cancer, glaucoma, seizures and other debilitating illnesses.
