As the holiday season rapidly approaches and our world's axis feels off-kilter, I don't know anyone who didn't count their blessings at Thanksgiving. In addition to the traditional family gathering over a cornucopia of indigestion, there was the annual retailer's parade featuring oversized cartoon characters full of hot air and classic football rivalries.
