Eurozoning
As of Jan. 1, 2002, the Euro will be the official currency in most European Union countries (except the United Kingdom, Sweden and Denmark). This subset of the European Union, commonly referred to as the "Eurozone," includes Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain.
