Research Thoroughly Before Accepting In-House Position

Lawyers call recruiters daily, asking them to find them the perfect in-house opportunity, because they are burned out in the private law firm arena. In a recent survey, one recruiter noted that, particularly among female associates, lawyers are so desperate to vacate their private practices that they are willing not only to sabotage their careers, potential for partnership track and stellar rsums but also to take a substantial cut in pay for what they perceive to be a quality-of-life choice.
