Lawyers for natural gas companies apparently have discovered that they can produce the stuff simply by putting words on paper. That's my conclusion after tangling myself up in the latest filings in antitrust litigation brought by big-time California plaintiffs' attorneys against El Paso Natural Gas Co., Southern California Gas Co. and San Diego Gas and Electric.
