Purchase By Dutch Stirs Fears For Security
Dutch semiconductor equipment manufacturer ASM Lithography gained approval from a U.S. governmental panel to buy San Jose-based Silicon Valley Group Inc., a deal that had raised concerns among some U.S. lawmakers that sensitive technology could wind up in the hands of other countries.
