Jury Acquits Football Star on DUI Charge

SAN DIEGO - After two hours of deliberation, a San Diego Superior Court jury late Monday acquitted Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Akili Smith of driving his Mercedes while drunk after leaving a downtown nightspot in the Gaslamp Quarter.
