Both Sides End Arguments in Rollover Case
LOS ANGELES - In the first courtroom showdown since the mass recall of tires began, an attorney told a Los Angeles Superior Court jury Monday that Continental General Tire managers knew their Mt. Vernon, Ill., manufacturing plant was "out of control" and producing defective products while they shipped out batch after batch of tires between 1992 and 1993.
