Jury Hears Opening Statements In Landmark Dog-Mauling Case
BARSTOW - The pit bull that mauled and killed a Newberry Springs boy last year was so vicious that its caretaker often had to push food toward it with a stick, a San Bernardino County prosecutor told jurors Thursday in the landmark murder trial of the dog's caretaker.
