9th Circuit Overrules Board On Gay Man's Asylum Appeal

SAN FRANCISCO - Ruling that "sexual identity is inherent to one's very identity as a person," the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday said an effeminate gay Mexican man whom police raped in that country is eligible for asylum in the United States.
