Misconduct Spurs Manslaughter Plea

SAN DIEGO - Saying that they accepted responsibility for taking part in a gang summit they knew could lead to violence, four men pleaded guilty Thursday to voluntary manslaughter in the 1988 shooting death of a San Diego police officer, though they denied they were involved directly in the officer's death.
