U.S. Supreme Court Highlights
The justices Monday announced the following actions: GRANTS BANK ROBBERY/LARCENY: The court agreed to review a decision by the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that bank larceny, 18 U.S.C. 2113(b), is not a lesser included offense of bank robbery, 18 U.S.C. 2113(a). The circuit held that a man charged with the unarmed robbery of a New Jersey bank was not also entitled to a bank larceny instruction because the robbery statute does not contain an intent
