San Diego mayor joins DAs in opposing Brown crime initiative

Mayor Kevin L. Faulconer announced Wednesday he will serve as a chair of the campaign to defeat Gov. Jerry Brown's Public Safety and Rehabilitation Act of 2016, more commonly known as Proposition 57, which seeks to provide a path to parole for individuals convicted of offenses categorized as nonviolent.
