Disbarred attorney gets 18-month jail sentence for role in stock scam

A disbarred Orange County attorney was sentenced to 18 months in prison by a federal judge after pleading guilty to conspiring in a securities fraud case in which investors were bilked for $18 million, according to the U.S. attorney's office.
