Retired U.S. magistrate judge Stephen J. Hillman, who sat on the Central District bench for 22 years, died June 5.

LOS ANGELES — Retired Chief Magistrate Judge Stephen J. Hillman, who sat on the U.S. District Court in Los Angeles for 22 years, died June 5. He was 67.
