Miller Barondess lawyer, in first major trial, wins $256.4 million jury verdict against Nissan finance group

An Orange County Superior Court jury has awarded $256.4 million to a once-prominent Los Angeles auto dealer, finding that Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. fraudulently cut off funding to six of his dealerships and drove him into bankruptcy at the height of the great recession.

A Miller Barondess lawyer in his first major trial as lead counsel has won a jury award of $256.4 million.

An Orange County Superior Court jury made the award to attorney Amnon Z. Siegel's client, a bankrupted Los Angeles auto dealer, finding that Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. fraudulently cut off funding to six of his dealerships at the height of the recession nearly a decade ago.
