Qualcomm suit makes proxy attack on Apple
In a proxy attack on Apple Inc., Qualcomm Inc. filed a lawsuit Wednesday against four Taiwan-based contract manufacturers that produce iPhone products, accusing them of not paying royalties for the use of Qualcomm's cellular standard-essential patents, which comprise many of the vital components used in smartphones.
