State Bar names new chief trial counsel

Steven Moawad, a longtime Contra Costa County prosecutor, on Wednesday was named the State Bar's chief trial counsel.
Moawad has served as a senior deputy district attorney since 2014 and managed the district attorney's special operations division.
During two decades as a prosecutor, Moawad has handled consumer protection, environmental protection, insurance fraud and other criminal cases. ...
