The State Bar would be spared from battling to secure funding from the Legislature next year under its recently amended dues bill.
State Sen. Hannah-Beth Jackson's SB 36 would authorize the bar to collect annual dues from attorneys in both 2018 and 2019, rather than a typical one-year bill.
