Man who fell from attic after tasing sues San Bernardino County

Closing arguments are expected this week in a federal jury trial in which the plaintiff alleges his tasing by sheriff's deputies caused him to lose his balance and fall from an attic window, rendering him paralyzed.

RIVERSIDE — Closing arguments are expected this week in a federal jury trial in which the plaintiff alleges his tasing by sheriff's deputies caused him to lose his balance and fall from an attic window, rendering him paralyzed, while the defense said officers did not use the Taser until the man was on the ground as they tried to keep him from resisting arrest.
