Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear LLP Irvine Patent


A Knobbe Martens team led by Re won an eye-popping $466.7 million jury verdict in October for Masimo Corp. against Philips Electronics North America Corp., the largest award handed down in a patent case in 2014.


Philips had conceded infringement of two patents related to pulse oximetry, a non-invasive method used to measure oxygen saturation in the blood, but argued the patents were invalid.
