Kirkland helps Vista in software deal


Kirkland & Ellis LLP represented San Francisco-based Vista Equity Partners in its purchase of Advanced Computer Software Group PLC, based in Surrey, England, for 725 million pounds, or approximately $1.1 billion, a deal announced Nov. 25. In a press release, Vista said it would pay 140 pounds per share.
