Performers' union seeks to boot spat over foreign royalties

SAG-AFTRA wants a federal judge to toss a suit by actor Ed Asner and others over foreign royalties and residuals they allege have been knowingly withheld from them.

The Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists this week again asked a federal court to dismiss a longrunning suit by a group of actors claiming the performers' union has been knowingly withholding foreign royalties and residuals from members for its own use.
