A large group of media organizations is seeking to intervene in litigation alleging Google Inc. illegally intercepts and scans emails. The media group, which includes the New York Times, National Public Radio, the Washington Post and dozens more, argue the Internet search giant and the plaintiffs should be more transparent in the litigation and the court should reject Google's request to seal documents.
