The Los Angeles trial attorney, known for his medical expertise and involvement with the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Association and other groups, died this month. He was 74.

Robert S. Schlifkin, a Los Angeles trial attorney known for his medical expertise, died Nov. 2 of heart failure. He was 74.
Schlifkin, a graduate from the San Fernando Valley College of Law, was admitted to the California bar in 1969. He began his legal career with now-defunct firm Pollock, Pollock, Fay & Baum, where he focused his practice largely on medical malpractice and personal injury disp...
