Jury awards Apple another $290 million in patent damages against Samsung
The federal jury ordered Samsung to pay $290.4 million for patent infringement - bringing the total award to $929.8 million against Apple's largest competitor for smartphone customers.

SAN JOSE - Apple Inc. did not win a $1 billion damages verdict for patent infringement from Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., as it did last year.
