Robert Beezer, a senior judge on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Seattle, died Friday of lung cancer. He was 83.
Beezer was appointed to the court in 1984 by President Ronald Reagan and issued significant opinions in cases involving music file sharing company Napster, the Anna Nicole Smith bankruptcy and sexual harassment.
