The U.S. Supreme Court agreed to review a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision preserving the pharmaceutical industry's ability to deny overtime pay to sales representatives.


The case turns on the interpretation of the federal Fair Labor Standard Act's overtime-pay requirement. Christopher v. Smithkline Beecham, 11-204.
