Cloud computing company VMware Inc. has defeated a $110 million intellectual property lawsuit.
An Oakland federal jury found late Monday that VMware did not break copyright law or violate contractual obligations to Phoenix Technologies Ltd. by modifying the plaintiff's technology to better fit their needs as their business model developed over time.
