Courts, legal advocates score more state budget money — for now
The state Legislature has approved new funding for dependency counsel and legal aid, as well as four new judges for Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

SACRAMENTO ? The Legislature approved funding for dependency counsel and legal aid, and four new judges for Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
The budget also preserves funding for plans for a proposed Sacramento courthouse.
Many of the items were approved Thursday night in the Legislature's Budget Conference Committee.
