California Department of Insurance taps Dentons attorney for general counsel

Kenneth B. Schnoll, a veteran insurance and health care attorney, becomes general counsel for the California Department of Insurance.

Kenneth B. Schnoll, Schnoll, a veteran insurance and health care attorney most recently with Dentons, will head the legal department at the California Department of Insurance, it was announced Tuesday.

Under Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones, the department has been committed to the Affordable Care Act and outwardly opposed to the new Republican health care bill.
