Bar examiners back eliminating unaccredited law schools
The support of the state Supreme Court, state Legislature and the State Bar's board is also needed for the changes to go into effect.

The state's unaccredited law schools would be phased out under a plan the Committee of Bar Examiners approved on Friday.
The committee's proposals would give the 21 unaccredited schools registered with the panel three years to secure provisional accreditation and two additional years to gain full accreditation.
