COSTA MESA — In an abrupt move already challenged by faculty, Whittier Law School in Orange County will close amid low bar exam passage rates and poor job prospects for its graduates.
"We very much hoped this day would never come," Whittier College President Sharon D. Herzberger told students packed into the law school's moot courtroom Wednesday afternoon for an emergency meeting.
