Charities for veterans, horses sued by state attorney general

State Attorney General Xavier Becerra has filed a lawsuit seeking to remove the operators of two charities that he accuses of falsely claiming to help veterans and horses, alleging that four family members instead diverted in excess of $500,000 for traveling, shopping, and paying off personal credit card debt.
