State AG seeks to intervene in suit to defend light bulb regulations

Fearing the regulations will not be adequately protected by the Trump administration, state Attorney General Xavier Becerra has filed a motion to intervene in a lawsuit challenging the U.S. Department of Energy's efficiency rules for light bulbs.

Fearing the regulations will not be adequately protected by the Trump administration, state Attorney General Xavier Becerra has filed a motion to intervene in a lawsuit challenging the U.S. Department of Energy's efficiency rules for light bulbs.

Becerra's office led the motion, which was filed in the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday.
