SANDAG retains Hueston Hennigan for sales tax revenue investigation

The San Diego Association of Governments voted to retain Hueston Hennigan LLP to investigate why inaccurate sales tax forecasts ended up in a ballot measure.

The San Diego Association of Governments board of directors voted unanimously Friday to hire Hueston Hennigan LLP to investigate why an inaccurate sales tax revenue forecast of $18 billion ended up in a November 2016 ballot initiative proposed by the agency.
