High court ends spat over Ventura County judge's service dog
The state Supreme Court formally dismissed the case of Ventura Superior Court Judge Nancy L. Ayers on Wednesday, ending a yearlong battle with the Commission on Judicial Performance over the presence of a service dog Ayers kept behind the bench.
