Apple to get $548M in patent case

There are about 8,400 more legal jobs in the U.S. today than in November 2015, according to a Bureau of Labor Statistics report. 600 legal jobs were added in the past month.

After years of bickering, drawn-out litigation, and appeals, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. has agreed to pay Apple Inc. roughly $548 million for its infringement of the Cupertino company's inventions, with one caveat: the fight is not yet over, according to Samsung.
