Executive order does not set emissions standards for EIRs
Last week, the California Supreme Court said an environmental impact report for a regional transportation plan is not required to consider the plan’s consistency with a gubernatorial executive order on greenhouse gas emission reduction goals in order to satisfy California environmental laws.
