Disner led the antitrust charge against BAR/BRI - the nation's leading bar review provider - and objected to a $49 million July settlement involving the company, co-defendant Kaplan Inc. and 300,000 aspiring attorneys across the country, even though he knew it would cost him his job. Undeterred, Disner started his own firm and, in August, filed another lawsuit against BAR/BRI.
