SF weighs whether to tax robots that take away jobs

Right now, as far as I know, robots are not taxed. However, that could change, and California seems likely to be the state with the most to gain.

Right now, as far as I know, robots are not taxed. However, that could change, and California seems likely to be the state with the most to gain. California taxpayers probably less so. San Francisco is looking at these taxes, as is the state. The basic idea seems to be that technology takes jobs, and that some workers are going to be replaced by robots.
