Expand and enforce state gun laws
As high as the current gun-related crime rates are today, they were significantly worse before California passed strict gun laws. Since we began intensifying our efforts to regulate and punish criminal gun use, gun related crimes fell by 50 percent compared to the national decline of about 20 percent.
