Judge dismisses federal lawsuit against State Bar

An attorney and blogger had challenged disciplinary charges filed against him

A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a lawsuit filed by an attorney attempting to halt the State Bar’s disciplinary proceedings against him.

Plaintiff Ty Clevenger alleged the bar was improperly seeking to discipline him for his critical blogging about the agency, while the bar has said it filed charges because of discipline Clevenger received in other states.
