The donation will support the “Shanin Specter Courtroom,” among other items.

Trial attorney and UC Hastings College of the Law Professor Shanin Specter is giving $1 million to support the law school.

His gift to the UC Hastings Foundation will fund multiple items at the school, including the building of the Shanin Specter Courtroom as part of an advocacy center that will be located in a new building at 198 McAllister Street in San Francisco.
