Trump’s Buy American, Hire American order has consequences

President Donald Trump issued the Buy American and Hire American executive order in April. The order directs federal agencies to buy American products made in the United States. It specifically mentions the iron and steel industries, and its manufacturing processes, "from the initial melting stage through the application of coatings."
