UC Hastings College of the Law announced Tuesday that 61 percent of the school’s first-time takers passed California’s July bar exam, a 10-percentage-point increase from a year ago.
It was the first time since 2009 that the school’s first-time success rate increased, Chancellor and Dean David L. Faigman wrote in an email to the UC Hastings community.
