After six deputy public defenders expressed their objections, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Tuesday to approve Nicole Davis Tinkham as interim public defender.
Tinkham, who has been an attorney for 14 years, has spent much of her career defending a mix of private and public entity clients, including Los Angeles County and the sheriff’s department.
