Female startup founder sues male VC over alleged assault

A female founder of a health technology startup has sued a prominent Silicon Valley venture capitalist for allegedly sexually assaulting her on an overnight flight from San Francisco to Minneapolis.

A female founder of a health technology startup has sued a prominent Silicon Valley venture capitalist for allegedly sexually assaulting her on an overnight flight from San Francisco to Minneapolis.

Rachel Danae Vachata, 29, claimed Lucio Lanza, 73, “preyed on her” by threatening to use his position as an influential venture capitalist to make or break her company in addition to repeatedly groping and attempting to kiss her.
